We know how much you all looooove the Buddy Blue shirts every year, so here is a taste of the shirt design. A more simpler design than the poster as to be easier on the eyes, but still pretty rad!
The actual print on the back may be smaller, depends on what the silk screeners do with it. But you get the idea. White print on black tee with a Pete's Place logo on the front. They will be available the day of the event, April 13th, 2012 starting at 7PM. Enjoy!

It's that time of year again. Hard to believe this is the 7th annual Buddy Blue Fest at Pete's Place. I usually go all sappy and sentimental... I'll spare you that this year. We've got, in order of appearance, Jazz West, Sarah Petite, The Buddy Blue Reunion Band and The Farmers performing April 13th at Pete's Place starting at 7PM. Great music for a saturday eve. Yes we will have shirts and yes we will have posters.

Alright, alright, alright! Hit Dog Hollar is finally playing Pete's Place Saturday, March 2 @ 9PM. It's been a struggle getting on the same page, but trust me it will be worth it. HDH will be playing a 3 hour set with breaks. I can't wait. If you have not heard these guys go here to stream for free at bandcamp and have a listen. Visit their facebook page. This is an awesome group to have at Pete's Place(finally!) for young and old. And of course we will remind you.

The first ever Pete's Place "This is Not an Official MTS Bar Crawl" was a success. Well at least from what we can remember. We had fun. The MTS was awesome, ran on time and kept us safe. We all paid, and did not drink ON any MTS form of transportation. Just to be clear. We play nice. And, No, Tommy did not drive the trolley downtown that day. So we have a photo gallery here and here's the official list of bars we managed to visit:

Its getting close to the end of the year here finally, and we have some plans to spice things up a little. December 26th, first annual (maybe ever?) Pete's Place "This is not an official MTS Bar Crawl." You heard me right, it's a trolley bus day excursion.
Here's the plan: Meet up at Pete's at 11AM, hop the trolley downtown to go to Barley Mash for some food before the real drinking begins. THEN we will take the 7 bus out of downtown and head back to good ol' La Mesa and hit any or every bar we see on the way back. Yes, we already scouted the bars and there's plenty of drinking to be had! Just check out the flier.
MTS day pass according to their website is $5. Buy your own drinks. Hell buy me a drink for making this poster! And real quick, again, CYA reasons, THIS IS NOT AN OFFICAL MTS SPONSORED EVENT. Just something a couple drunks thought would be fun to do. See you then! Oh and keep checking back here for some NYE news, regarding the classy complimentary champagne toast at midnight etc.
