Oktoberfest is coming back, and so is the big beer garden, see for yourself:

Officially one month away, I know it's early. Here's some info from the official La Mesa Village Merchant's Association website:
"Please join your friends (200,000 or so) here at La Mesa Village for the 36th Annual Oktoberfest. You don’t want to miss the Grand Daddy of all street fairs and the largest 3-day Oktoberfest West of the Mississippi.
This all takes place October 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 2009.
Oktoberfest hours are:
Friday October 2nd. 11am till 11:30pm
Saturday October 3rd.11am till 11:30pm
Sunday October 4th. Noon till 6pm"
We will keep updating for the next month or so with more info as it becomes available, pics from last year, and some fun info and tips to make your Oktoberfest experience the best. As Always, Pete's Place will be open the duration of Oktoberfest as normal everyday from 10a.m. to 2a.m. with the back patio fenced off to drink outside. Excited aren't we? Later.
