Oktoberfest is over!!

It was a long, hot, muggy weekend, but it's over. I heard it best described: "Thursday is the best day ever, and Sunday is the saddest day ever." It's true, everyone gets geared up for oktoberfest and it's a fun, free-for-all weekend.

Here are some random pictures to show from this weekend.

Big John came out from AZ and kicked some butt at the door. Figuratively, not literally. It was a good weekend all in all. Hopefully sometime soon I'll have the La Mesa Tour video posted. That was great.

Oktoberfest, October 1-3rd in La Mesa Village

Damen und Herren! It' that time of year again, Oktoberfest is almost here! Oktoberfest will be October 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd in lovely downtown La Mesa VIllage. I'll post the hours:

Friday, October 1^st and Saturday, October 2^nd

11AM-11:30PM

Sunday, October 3^rd

12Noon-6PM

6 city blocks long, 5 food courts and 3 beer gardens. Mind you Pete's Place will be open from 10:00AM-2AM everyday. So if you get tired of beer and want a shot, Pete's will be here.

Pete's Place after Oktoberfest 2008

Just as a heads up. Oktoberfest is Krazy!! Seriously, it goes knuts!! The K is silent.....

Oh wait... I think we were remodeling the week after... Hmmm. Anyway, it's still a ton of fun. We will have some pics from last year on the front page to help entice.
