This is looking at the bar from the La Mesa Blvd side. Looking right down the 28 foot long stretch of bar, right near the front entrance. Note the two flat screens above on the right, for sports or whatever suites your fancy. Big thanks to Point of Departure and Blue Print Contracting for designing and remodeling the bar to function great and look even better.

Visiting New Orleans is a time-honored tradition at Pete's Place, and will be for years to come. The posters you see hanging on the walls all around the bar are actually from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The posters are purchased every year at the festival itself.

Though the Posters only go back to 96, the festival has been going now for 40 Years, and we're sure to see more posters go up as the years pass.

Who doesn't love a good game of Pool? At Pete's, these tables see as much action as anything else in the bar. Re-felted in red to suit the new colors found in the bar after the remodel, these tables have one big thick solid slab to ensure a great game.

This is a great angle of the bar itself. You can see the 28 foot long bar running towards the front door on the right side. You also get a view of the 50 inch flat screen that hangs in front of the soffit, for all the people that choose to sit down at the tables.

Don't over look that exposed ceiling either! That was under the old ceiling the entire time, and now it's getting shown. And everybody loves it. That lumber was actually purchased locally from La Mesa Lumber over 40 years ago, and looks even better now than it did then.
